Duties and responsibilities:
- Setting up an ASME calculation tool and providing necessary approvals
- Design and develop sealing clamps and hot tap fittings according to customer specifications and requirements
- Perform ASME calculations to ensure that the designed clamps meet the required standards and safety regulations
- Analysing technical drawings, specifications and customer requirements to provide customised solutions
- Working with the production team to ensure efficient production of the designed clamps
- Performing on-site measurements to establish the correct dimensions and specifications for the installation of sealing clamps
- Installing sealing clamps when required, including correct installation and tightening of bolts
- Documenting designs, technical specifications and any test results
Required skills and qualifications:
- Diploma Mechanical Engineering
- Able to independently prepare and obtain approval of a calculation tool
- Have experience in designing seal clamps and hot tap fittings is a requirement
- Familiarity with different sealants/compounds and working with a sealant groove
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills
- Thorough knowledge of ASME calculations and standards for pressure vessels and piping
- Have knowledge of CAD software and other design tools is a requirement
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Dordrecht (NL)
Needed: EU citizen or valid work permit for the Netherlands.
