Introducing the Silk AXL012, a versatile and portable flange facing, grooving, and weld preparation machine designed for precision and ease of use. Suitable for machining full-faced, raised face, and grooved flanges ranging from 0mm to 305mm (0’’ to 12’’), the AXL012 is ideal for a variety of industrial applications.

• Pneumatic Drive: The 0.66kw (0.85hp) pneumatic motor allows safe operation in hazardous areas.
• Flexible Positioning: Externally mounted design ensures the machine can operate in any position.

• Base Ring Assembly: Features four adjustable clamp blocks that can be positioned to suit various flange sizes.
• Drive and Bearing Assembly: Equipped with a detachable 0.66kw pneumatic motor mounted on the drive bearing assembly for easy maintenance.
• Saddle Assembly: Provides a robust structure for the toolpost, driven by an internal gear arrangement for precision machining.
