Setup Instructions:
- Preparation:
- Clean the area to be machined.
- Measure the internal diameter of the flange to determine the required clamping jaws.
- Levelling:
- Place the mandrel inside the flange and pretension the jaws.
- Use the indicator to check the straightness of the device and adjust the jaws as necessary.
- Setting Up:
- Adjust the tool holder to the edge of the area to be machined.
- Use the speed return function to position the feed handle correctly.
Operation:
- Rotate the Manual Facer while holding the feed handle tightly.
- Avoid applying excessive vertical force on the feed handle.
- Repeat the machining process as necessary to achieve the desired quality.
- To remove the Manual Facer, release the clamping jaws by turning the clamping nut counterclockwise.
Maintenance:
- Clean the Manual Facer after each operation.
- Inspect for damage or loose components.
- Apply general-purpose grease to moving parts.
- Replace the feed screw as needed by following the provided steps.
